I have been working with children for over 20 years, and during that time I have developed a strong passion for supporting students during the important before and after-school hours. These programs provide children with consistency, connection, and a safe space to begin and end their day.
Having my own children in my care throughout my journey has strengthened my understanding of what families need and expect from quality childcare. It has taught me the importance of patience, communication, structure, and kindness—qualities I bring into every interaction with the children I serve. I take pride in being someone they can trust and I am dedicated to providing dependable, nurturing, and enriching care that supports both students and their families.

After 16 years serving my community as a city bus driver, I made the decision to pursue a long-held passion: working with young children and supporting their early development. I began this journey by volunteering at a daycare/preschool, where I discovered how much I enjoyed creating positive, nurturing experiences for young learners.
Motivated to grow in the field, I transitioned into a classroom aide position, gaining hands-on experience in guiding children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. Through dedication, continued learning, and a deep commitment to the well-being of every child, I advanced to become a fully qualified teacher.
Today, I bring to early childhood education a unique blend of real-world experience, patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay calm and empathetic in any situation. My career change has not only fulfilled a dream—it has allowed me to make a meaningful impact on children and families every day.
